The story
Calumet Lofts started as a 1913 industrial building that later served as a warehouse. We haven't been able to confirm its original occupant. The conversion architect was Stefan Helgeson, with McGough Construction.
What stands out
- Heavy timber framing and exposed brick.
- A patio and party room.
Before you buy here
- In a 35-unit association, a few owners' dues cover everything. Look closely at the reserve fund and at any history of special assessments.
- Ask for the association’s resale disclosure certificate, budget, reserve study and recent minutes. Minnesota law gives you specific rights around that certificate; see our buying and financing guide.
